The Project
- Class1, Division 2 wiring throughout, feeding distribution and over 200 motors
- Automation of over 1,000 Analog / Digital devices and over 40,000 terminations.
- Utilize PVC coated rigid throughout to eliminate deterioration due to chemicals present.
- Designed pathways and installed over 5 miles of rigid PVC coated conduit.
- 40,000 man hours over 2.5 years - Total project: $4.5 million dollars.
The Result
- Project accomplished with in-house design, project management and field personnel
- 0 days lost due to injury.
- Flexibility of Wagner Electric to complete $1.5 million dollars of changes to project.
- Project received a 2013 IEC National Award of Excellence in Electrical Construction.
